And it should be snowing?

Haha.. not in New Zealand!~ Woo! 25 days!! ^_^ Yay I can’t waaait!

Soo haven’t updated for a week since I watched Camp Rock last Friday.. that was quite a while ago…. nothing exciting is happening at the moment other than work and payday this Friday!

This past week has just been work and moving my stuff back to West Auckland….. my room is still a mess from all the bags of stuff that I packed up… I guess a photo insert here would be appropriate… maybe next entry.

And then I will leave you with the (actual) exciting events that are coming up in the next three months? (lol…)

• Friend’s Birthday Dinner and Clubbing
• Chinese Lantern Festival (its amazing how Albert Park is turned into this awesome array of displays and such. I love it.)
• FOB (and the chance/possibility to meet them….. hookups! n_n)
• The Veronicas/MetroStation (Veronicas = FINALLY! can’t wait….!!)

I actually still have to get tickets to the latter two but still excited~ hopefully they don’t sell out… this is all dependant on my pay on the 19th of this month… coz have to put in some money for rent for the last two weeks of Jan…. the woman that is going to be staying in my room is going to stay for only 7 weeks! Thought (wrongly, obviously) that she would be paying for the room even though she was going to be away….. well. Now it’s cleared up.. she wanted to also stay one night in the room before her flight… um. No. I think without even paying…..

But anyways. This was going to be a short entry..kind of still but yes. Just thought that I would update~

This entry has been sectioned for easy reading and well, actually just an easy entry for me. Coz I’ve wanted to blog but just not sure where to start and well, waited till now coz thought that there would be some photo-taking yesterday but there’s not so oh well and yeah. And, end of the week is a good time to post and reflect and summarise :]

WORK

Work is good other than not being paid this week due to me forgetting to fill out and give timesheet to boss/finance department… T_T damnit, then realizing like after work and then going in the next day to see if I could… I couldn’t =(

And from next week onwards I’ll be working there everyday from 12.30 – 2.30 as opposed to just two days a week… and when I’m back in West Auckland, have to train in everyday…. it’ll be like I’m going to uni! Heh… must be how its like for full-timers…. with the exception that I’ll be only working two hours a day! xD

It’s good. Gives me something to do since well, I can’t get a new (retail?) job anyway coz of me going overseas in about a month (hmm… actually month~ four weeks!! ^.^) so yeah, this is good aand obviously I will be getting more money and hopefully paying off that damn overdraft finally. It was supposed to be like paid off um, on Thursday? My last allowance payment….? Yeah.. didn’t happen -_-

UNI

I failed a paper.. It sucks, but oh well. That happens. =\ Actually got an F….. but hopefully I don’t think it matters next year since I’ve changed like from an extended Chinese major to a double major (in Event Management).. Ahh, more work (probably?) and like more papers to pass…. well hopefully it is interesting and just realized that I never mentioned this change of plan. The paper descriptions I rea seem interesting and have planned (really) small events and quite enjoyed it…… yeah, we’ll see what I say this time next year. Quite proud of that small birthday celebration for a friend that I planned, but anyways, this is getting off-track..

Got results back yesterday and it was good and bad (this was just for the Chinese papers). I passed Chinese II but I failed the year-long Written Chinese paper… fcuk. Oh well. It’s not the end of the world and like I said earlier, I don’t think this affects my degree anymore as I don’t think I need it anymore.. :] Got B- for Chinese II. Which I’m pretty happy about. My whole semester of (not-much, but much at the same time…?) study!

Still waiting back on a core paper, icomm. Not sure when will get those.. probably in the first week of December… hopefully earlier~

SOCIAL LIFE & FRIENDS

Social life has been alright this past two weeks, ever since I finished exams for the year. Been loved and visited by friends! ^^ That has been awesome. And hung out and caught up with a few others.. actually thinking back hasn’t really been much but a lot in my book. :]

This week saw a movie with a friend. Went to see Saw V. Friend didn’t think the traps/games were great.. “ametuer” in comparison to the previous ones, according to her. I thought that it was a pretty good movie, on par with the rest (but then realizing that I hadn’t actually seen all of them and think even thought that was the fourth~ =_=) but yeah now thinking back, I do agree with her comment, specially in comparison to the limb torture one! AH! >_<

Also went to the beach with classmates after getting results back. That was good. The was sooo nice! Definitely gonna go again (maybe, hopefully more than once!) before I leave for HK/China!~~ Also got like the typical kiwi fish and chips for lunch and the girls had icecream.. that was nice. Had it at that Gelato and Sorbert shop.. think that was what it was called. Had Tiramisu flavoured icecream.. wanted Rum and Rasin (alcoholic! LOL XD) but they didn’t have that flavour. Damnit. And then just laid on the beach for a while and soaking up the Vitamin D… when I got back, was feeling quite tired, maybe too much? Haha. It was great.

And speaking of alcoholic, met up with two friends after work on Thursday and well, ended up drinking at my place with some sushi that we made while watching some Home & Away~ ^^ It was nice. Quite excited about my friend’s upcoming birthday dinner (plans haha.. but also means spending T_T)

Good week

COMING UP….

• Friend’s birthday dinner on the 5th.
• And also before that am planning on a shopping trip to get a new dress for that birthday with my gift vouchers that I got for my birthday but still haven’t spent
• Possibly another class outing (lol) on the same day since I have like work and the birthday dinner later that nigth and it would just be poitnless to go back and so yeah, hopefully~
• CHINA/HK TRIP! – this is the most exciting and the one I cannot wait for!! Shopping, shopping and more shopping! Oh, and of course visiting and spending time with family and relatives. And also possibly improving my Chinese

And there’s probably other little spontaneous things along the way in the next five weeks Actually, there will definitely be some more. I’d like see some movies that are coming out like My Best Friend’s Girl and possibly (yes, delayed, lol) Dark Knight too.. I hear it’s $8 atm…. anyone keen? (That’s living in the Auckland region haha) Oooh and karaoke again too!

And, lastly, which I wasn’t going to mention but maybe (actually it is) mention more indepth at my LJ (if you would like it, email me and we’ll see from there ) is the love life. Virtually, nothing to mention and nonexistent! As the saying goes, you can’t have everything and when I did have one, it was last semester and my grades weren’t too hot… but this semester it wasn’t too hot… actually FAILED! -__- but. Not the end of the world! That was a year-long paper and soo yeah… damnit. Maybe would of had a chance if I didn’t like um, pretty much fail the last exam! D:

But yes. That is my life in the past two weeks and also semester. Not much excitement or drama (no drama is great, thanks!) but was a pretty social and good year for the academics~ =]

We shall see what next year/semester brings with my changed double degree of Event Management and Chinese. I have also signed up for Student Mentors and so that should add some spice to the mix of things Can’t believe that another year is nearly over and will be going into the new year in another country! How exciting! =) Although wish we were going into the New Chinese New Year over there…. money! Hahahaha XD

I will follow this up with a list of my current favourites that you might like to check out…… tomorrow n_n

YAYYYYY!!!! My overdraft is going down! I am sooo happy. This end of year and actaully SEMESTER has actually been pretty great! Greatness all around… and now that just sounds cheesy, lol. >.<

Overdraft = now $116! YUS!

The next couple of weeks is going to be quite good too… well the next week anyways…

1. Getting exams back… fingers crossed I passed! ><
2. Some plans with Chinese Class (LOL, yes, we’re that tight haha XD)
3. Getting paid… haha… and equals overdraft disappearing! Also my last allowance payment~
4. Friends (finally) coming to visit me!

Well.. the last one is actually this week but nonetheless, I’ll count them as like next week lol… OOoh and HEROES! Coming back. OMG! It is sooo goood!!! >_< But so very whyyy and wtf as well.

Ohhh and like today also like got reconnected with an old friend on FB! Facebook is great! Lol. That’s now like two people finding me in a FB group lol… (the primary school I went to~)

Soo yeah, life has never been so great! I’m very happy. And ooohhh of course CHINA AND HK! YUS!! HAPPY! LIKE OMG!

Sooo pretty much there is quite a few things that I am looking forward that’s coming up in the next month… like:

1. CHINA/HK! LIKE OH YEAH AND OMG!!!! YUS~ ^_^
2. My friend, Chloe’s birthday dinner… birthdays  are always nice and good time to catch up! =)
3. Working! Yes… lol… I found out that I will be working till the week before I leave for China/HK! ^.^
4. And the above stuff, exam handback plans, etc etc.

I am like pretty happy and satisfied with life atm. And exaaaaams have finsihed! Yus! Finally!

Though one thing that hasn’t really like “lifted off” is that NZ site… I’m too lazy to like tend to it… emailed a few sites in the hopes of a exchange but yeah… I dunno. I think I need more help. Heh.

Oooh and of course not like forgetting my little outing today, lol! It was actually quite interesting~ Like I stumbled onto this guy on Vulcan Lane, I think like doing this awesome and soo original painting! Sucks that I was like 30c short of $2 to try and get one through the raffle he was doing! The art was like soo great! Pretty great~ It’s like apparently this technique from South Africa and like next to no one other than he does it!? It’s pretty awesome!

Also, this guy was busking..

And I believe that is about all! Satisfication. ♥

Oh and am also planning a few stuff before the end of the year/before I leave… presents… gotta go shopping for a secret santa present on Snark and also for some other people. =) Might leave some till I actually have money!~ But would like the snark secret santa to be like sent out soonish… since it’s gotta be sent overseas~

I haven’t been doing this last week OR the photography thing… urgh, I think the photoblog is dying… need to revivie it.. but hey~ I am thinking of doing this (nearly $2000) photography course that lasts for 24 weeks… 6 months =o and yeah… maybe when I am out of overdraft and see how my finances are like when the time comes… am actually thinking of doing it during the break….. hmmm. Sooo expensive but soo interesting! >_<

Oh. And speaking of finances… anticipated spend this coming for Chinese outing…. $60… that’s how much I spent last time….. but. that was combined on alcohol ($23 – lemon, lime and vodkas >.< + $13 soju!), food ( $4) and $20 for karaoke that I withdrew money and paid for…. >_> (probably soo drunk ><) but it was great time and was worth it!

Hopefully will still be able to get out of this overdraft by November 10.. Oooh, it also coincides with my last exam! I can’t wait for that day… then can’t wait for the 21st (Nov)… when we get our results… for everything (Chinese II and Written Chinese I -__-). Sucks.

But yes.. so close, yet so far! T_T

I Am Bored. Very Very VERY Bored! 16 October, 2008

I am extremely bored at work. Although I only have 15 minutes left. And well I think the only reason and possible factor in that it is going somewhat faster is because I am talking to someone or else I’d be aimless wondering the internet finding something to do… or just passing time..

So. This week I have done absolutely NO study what.so.ever! =_= Sigh. At this point in time I say, I hate learning a language.. I bet that over the summer break, I’ll forget almost everything that I have learned over the past year.. -__-

Now, that would suck… now wouldn’t it. But I am still extremely hopeful and holding out that my family and I will be returning to the motherland (? I wonder if it applies if you weren’t born there.. I dunno, it just sounded good lol.. and just rolled~ haha.. -_- I’m lame, yes). And theeen i will be able to utilize what I have learned and also possibly teach my younger cousin some English slang.. some of the stuff she says just.. doesn’t flow. Lol.. But yes.

But then once I return I will probably not speak one ounce of it again either till uni starts.. hmmm should do/hatch a plan about that..

So. Instead of NOT studying… I have been indulging in back-to-back TV.. and also of course mindless and pointless internetting… =_= I NEED TO STUDY!! >.<

So, yeah ten more minutes till end of work..

The weather’s looking shit! It was soo nice this morning!! And then now it is threatening to rain! Actually.. I am certain it most probably WILL rain! Stupid Auckland weather! :(:(

After work, I am planning to get some Bubble Tea even though I am like overdrawn like woah. >_<

This coming weekend I have a job interview for Armeggdon.. hopefully I get it.. really need some money~ also next weekend I have RSVP’ed to attend a PMT-club-esque meeting.. where I will know absolutely nobody but… that should be fun! Kind of actually looking forward to it and excited to meet new people..

Yeah I have been like meeting new people online and then like finding out they like in Auckland too! Like, through discovering blogs in my blog circle (?) But yes.. it’s great. Expanding my friendship circles ^^_

Sigh. Monday.. Again~ 13 October, 2008

It is Monday… again. It’s amazing how fast a week has gone by… it seems that it was just yesterday that it was the beginning of the second half of the second semester… and I just somewaht made it really complicated lol. Oh well.

Monday, Monday, Monday…. =_=

For some reason I have been feeling like tired all weekend after cleaning the bathroom (yes, I know, some people’s gotta clean their bathroom AND kitchen AND lounge etc) and my friend’s 21st.. Not sure why but hmm. /Shrug.

But yes… last Friday was my friend’s 21st and it was pretty good… had a little wine and a Corona before having to leave and look after a friend got sick after too many wines… gotta say that’s the shortest amount of time I’ve stayed at a party~ lol. It wasn’t that bad though, good that she got over most of the throwing up and didn’t have to watch it… coz if that happened, I think I would have been throwing up also >_<

But yeah she was thankful and such… unlike other people I have had to help who was like pretty ungrateful and remembering back, didn’t even say thanks.. and I even got blamed by the father! =_= Oh well. Not friends with them anymore. So, yeah.

Met one of her my friend’s friends at the bar, lol. While I was waiting to get served and yeah, she was nice. Also talked to another of her friends which I met earlier this year/late last year (or almost like a year ago) at a defensive driving course in Mt Roskill area. Other than was just drinking my wine/Corona with family friends and two other friends who I knew.

But yes, I don’t think I will be returning there again in a hurry~ also took something that don’t think will be like ever returning heh.. >_<

The rest of the weekend…. didn’t do like anything other than clean bathroom and then like sleeping on and off and then not being able to sleep till 5 am! >.< Oops..? -_-

Should really study more… wow, I cannot believe that there is only like three. more. weeks of uni~ kinda scary.. well not really but to know that a year’s already over and… well…  guess a lot of achievement(s)… like that at the beginning of this year, didn’t know ANY Mandarin Chinese and yeah.. amazing what coming onto 8 months can do…. can string together like sentences and understand (kind of…) some basic conversation. Quite amazing… sort of…

But yes.. somewhat a lot to do before the end of semester… like creating a Chinese newsletter and like study.. yup, study.. ugh… ><

Sigh. I also hope, maybe even wish that my family and I wil be able to go overseas to China/HK! That would be really great and definitely the cherry on the top of the year~ it’d just make this year somewhat even more awesome and better.. not exactly sure what has made this year like great..

Shoppingggg!!!!

I am quite excited to be shopping today after work. I don’t think I remember that last time that I went shopping and had the intention of buying stuff haha.

Going to go dress shopping and 21st present shopping in Newmarket.. =) Also got job interview at this tanning salon~ soo yeah quite excited! ^^

Probably should not have left present shopping to the day before the party but oh well. I think (lol) I have an idea of what I want to get her…. saw something pretty awesome online but… yeah… its in the U.S! T_T Oh well, hopefully can find something similar to it or can put together that idea I have.. soo going to be busy.. and pressured to get the stuff.. guess still have tomorrow before the party? >_< Now that would be pressure!!

And can’t wait till party! ^_^ Also got test in Chinese tomorrow but pretty and somewhat confidant.. actually got up at like 8.30 (yes, I know, its amazing isn’t it lol ) and studied (:o)… though did take me a while to get out of bed ><

Thursday: Work, then Newmarket for dress shopping and job interview at this tanning salon.. hmm working at a tanning salon.. I don’t think if I did get the job, I’d be putting myself through those things~

Friday: Test =_= Chinese Corner and then dress shopping again if I haven’t already bought a dress the day before? And theeen PARTYY! Elaine’s 21st. Should be good.

What.. 24 September, 2008

Ummm.. Okay ? O_o

So other than this lovely surprise.. I have just been busy with uni and work.. attending classes and all and (actually) working on assignments and studying.. :O (I know, shocking) It might actually turn out to be a good and worthwhile semester after all~ I hope so though. I do pay like literally thousands to be there and such..

So yeah nothing that I particularly want to go into depths about.. which nothing really of this week is quite kodak-momenty that I wouldn’t want to forget… just uni and work… and well, it’s pay week, so that’s cool..

I’m quite boring atm and am actually doing work. Sigh. What has the world come to? Heh.. But something that is kind of somewhat exciting that is coming up is my possibly three upcoming back-to-back weekends of doing at least one thing. ^_^ So after my week of actual work I can go out… and not spend money. I am adament in getting my overdraft down before the end of semester and actually having some money in there when I finish uni for this year~ ^.^

Yum. And Cute Too! ^.^

That was the first time that I’ve seen and had the tiramisu cake decorated like that! It’s soo cute!! ^.^ It was quite yum too~

Tonight went out to Hulu Cat Cafe with two friends, SC + GW. It was awesome. Haven’t been to that place since I think earlier this year! :O That’s like ages ago!! I liked it… had the same thing that I always have….. should really like try something new but oh well~ I don’t like much change and like to stick to what I know & like.

Lately, it’s just been uni and work.. I still haven’t been paid by my work! There’s always a kink that prevents me from being paid! :( And it sucks even more that I have to wait like two weeks before I get paid again coz they pay wages fortnightly! =_=

Four Scratch that, three more days till mid-semester break!! ^_^ I can’t wait! …. But I should probably use that time to catch up with my Chinese…. *sigh*

Atm, also the apartment is in the midst of changes.. one flatmate moved out not long ago and this week, an old flatmate and his girlfriend is moving back in.. (I’m still not sure if I should use full names, although I have before but notw, hmm… not quite certain..) and so yeah, changes abode~ Another change in the works is that the other remaining flatmate is looking to move out soon, probably around the time the old flatmate and girlfriend is moving in.. and then who will replace her is this flatmate….. I won’t complicate things coz I think I am getting myself confused. But, there’s someone like pretty much ready and waiting to move in once she (SC) moves out who actually happens to be the current flatmate of the former flatmate at their current apartment…. I think that made sense, if not, then. Oh well. I tried. I’m not very good at explaining things. x_x

Oooh and tomorrow going to get my new (SECOND!) external hard drive from the computer place! Yay! Music, photos, videeeos!! ^.^ It is like soo sad. T_T Second hard drive in like less than a week of owning the first! *sigh* I’m a hazard and just danger when owning like electronic equipment.. which speaking of electronic equiment.. I’m wanting a new digital camera for when I *hopefully* travel back to China/Hong Kong at the end of this year with family… I want a more slim one and one that is pink! Lol xD Me and pink stuff….. >_<

Well.. that’s all for now… an oral and written exam this week… wish me luck… I’ll need it… maybe… quite possibly… And it’s nearly the end of another six weeks/half semester. And then before you know it… it’ll be the end of the year!

And hopefully CHINA! And HONG KONG!!! Soo excited! An oportunity also to improve and use my Chinese…. probably mainly just conversing with my younger cousins.. who are not that young I don’t think.. one is about fourteen/fifteen? And the other, well is a tad younger… like about seven or eight? Not sure.. but he’s quite cute in that he doesn’t know much English while the other cousin, MH, has been studying for like 7 years! :O Wow. Soo yeah. Excited!! ^.^

Oh. And it’s September! Seventeen days till my birthday!
