Laziness and Whatnot Kicking In…. 14 December, 2008

is the reason behind my uh, lack of updates and the general feeling of un-interestingness.. even though there has been some moments in which I said I would blog… but, yeah, I lost it! >.<

It is finally happening to me. I’ve read in a few of the blogs that I follow this happening to them. And now it’s happening to me~

There has been some good news.. overdraft is down like SIGNIFICANTLY. To -$25… now, just have to NOT spend anything till payday this coming Friday 19th! ^_^

And the China/HK trip is getting closer and closer!!! Two weeks exactly!! I can’t wait. Will be starting to pack next week, really (week of 23rd)! Yaay! ^.^

Something sort of random that I did today, created a blend from an episode of Gossip Girl for a theme header competition at Transcending Bliss Forum.

And, speaking Gossip Girl, I am one episode away from having watched every episode of Gossip Girl! Love that show<3 Love Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass! Blair is GORGEOUS and PRETTY and Chuck is, just, Chuck. Not bad looking as the (first) season progresses~ :]

So, really what is left of this month is:
~ a week of work (this week)
~ Boxing Day Sales (YUS! Shopping timee!!)
~ and finally, CHINA/HK!!

This past month or the last time since I have updated hasn’t been totally exciting… just been me procrastinating tidying room (since moving back) and when I have been tidying, chucking and sorting stuff etc etc.. and yeah…. exciting stuff right there.

Until next time….. which I will probably be going on about my imminent trip!

Something that I got in my email (there’s an online version ) today after signing up for it coz you could win stuff, lol..

But I had a look at the email and I couldn’t believe the price of that Sony digital camera pack! In comparison to how much I got my digital camera for, I thought that it was decently priced and also great moneys-worth!

You got like pretty much a start-up kit! Good value. Will definitely be checking out this site more often…. wonder how much they’re selling iPod Chromatics for……

Yeah that quote isn’t exactly “moving” or like “insightful” but it’s something that I probably will never find out.. oh well. Anyways….

Forever21.com – damn that site is like sooo cheap but postage is sooo expensive! Pretty much probably have to buy like 25 items just to make shipping worth it! We’ll see when I have money again…. whenever that is >_>

But yes, there are some dresses and tops that I would love to add to my collection of clothing in which most of them I don’t wear.. I need to throw out sell the clothes I don’t wear but (some.) that I love and can’t bear to part with.. T_T

One of my previous entries, I mentioned stuff that I wouldn’t mind getting and in which I would get myself if I didn’t get it hahaha.. well. My wishlist is complete haha.. air tickets to HK are nearly sorted and booked [although I have to fly back bout like two days earlier than my family coz of work... like 4 hours/2 days! Oh well.. least I didn't have to like miss out weeks of stuff! =) And this is just two days.. or really one because of the time differences..], remembered this notebook that I had that I said I was going to use to document my time in HK/China aaand yeah got my writing utensiliesthanks to Mish! Lol XD (yeah, I’m weird, lol), but hey, saves me like $20 on getting it

During this holiday….  I am kind of hoping to learn how to make WP layouts (since I have like millions of time on my hands anyway!) and well…. it could happen… it may not. I’m not sure… depends on my motivation levels and if I do so, then will have to get hosting which I might like just use 100webspace ooor 110mb… we’ll see.

Oooh and yes, yesterday I went shopping with my sister for boots on my mum’s request (I didn’t click on the reason till like much later during the shopping trip.. =_=) coz of the many walking we will be doing while in HK/China and yeah, they’re great! I wanna get these other pairs too! I still like my Westfield vouchers from my birthday… thanks again sooo much for them!! Was saving them for the New Year’s and/or Boxing Day sales lol… (don’t look at me like that! I’ll be able to get more stuff at that time! Yeah, that’s possible~!) But, yes, the boots which I quite love and it was only $30!

I also wanna get a hairdryer and umm… handbag(s) from Farmers! They’re like $40 each! D:

One day…. I will be in credit again.. =)

But yes. Ummm… I haven’t started studying for exam… that I have… you could “tomorrow”/on Monday… hmmm. Cramming tomorrow/today…. >.<

Music Stuff: Recommendations and Whatnot 22 September, 2008

Thought that I would add something different to the mix of my blog posts.. musical recommendations done by the new feature on iTunes.. not sure if this is a good idea but… well sharing is caring? And this could…

(1) save you time from doing the work if you already have and know about the Genius feature?
(2) help you with compiling a playlist if you have similar musical tastes to me?
(3) maybe help you to discover new bands/artists/songs from the song that the playlist was derived from…?

I’m not sure… I’m kind of getting myself confused with all these “maybes” and “possibilities” haha but I think you get what I mean… I wonder if this falls under any copyright laws….? Hopefully not.. well I have like credited it and such.. so, yeah.

So. Also, a little background on the Genius feature…. it is in the new iTunes 8. Pretty much it is a feautre in which you select a song and then click this little button and it will bring up a list of 20 songs that they think go well together, are similar and such. It’s actually pretty good.. I think those above songs actually do go well together coz they’re similar and yeah. I like it! You should give it a try~ you have to have an iTunes account, though but yeah kinda worth it, I guess.. definitely does take the time out of like manually creatig playlists yourself but yeah.. it uses music that you already have though in your library and soo yeah, but hey, that is also what’s great about it, too I guess.

And hey, I just made an entry on something other than my life, haha.. I was kind of thinking maybe people was getting a little bored of hearing about my life and so thought that this would be a good (weekly?) addition to my blog ^^

Face Your Manga 16 August, 2008

Coz pretty much this is everywhere… I thought that I would try it out.. My results:

Yeah.. they look nothing like me… a little similar but not really… it’s cute though! ^.^ Personally, though, think if any of them has any resemblance to me, it’d be the second for some reason.

I thought initially that you would upload a picture of yourself and they would like transform it into a manga, but you just like create and pick the features and styles yourself! Maybe if I was more like creative or had some artistic talent in like recreating myself then it would have looked more similar to me but… yeah.. oh well. I like it. It’s cute! Tehe

Your Thoughts: Friendship Requests 8 August, 2008

Question for people: When will you not accept a friend request on a social networking site like facebook or bebo?

For me, when I actually don’t know them. I.e. Haven’t met them offline. The only exception is when I have talked to them and actually know them. I don’t know how I would define “know them” but I know what I mean.. lol. But yeah.. majority of the time, if someone I do not know and/or have not met or know in real life, then it will be declined.. You actually have to have talked to me, you know.. but even if I do like know them in the real world, have met them.. I wonder what their point is if they like add me but don’t like talk to me… at least for me, if I add someone (whether it be on bebo or facebook) I will comment them and make an attempt to comment/talk to them every now and then…. coz I guess there are like people you don’t talk to everyday and yeah. 

Soo yeah I wonder why people add me but like don’t talk to me… is it because to increaes their friend count ooor hmm… I dunno… just random wonderings…. well, not really random but yeah.

Every friend on my friend lists I know, have met and talk to.. some more than others and some every now and then but I still do talk to/comment them.

Second Semester! 21 July, 2008

Well… first day back at uni… not baaad ^^

Quite good in fact! Umm… had like two classes today, one in the morning and one short hour one in the afternoon. Oooh and I have like Thursdays off! ^_^ Yuss!

Not much to update on other than that uni is back on and that I plan to like keep on top of things…. which will be really hard seeing as well.. omg… I had trouble like reading a passage! T_T Not good.. so should’ve like revised in the break! But oh well. Twas a good study-free break..

But yup… uni again… and then by the end of this semester it will only be TWO MORE YEARS! ^^ Can’t wait.. unless I decide to like do business conjoint.. then it will be another year on top of it but… it would be like better than doing like one degree after another in which it will be like six years but… I dunno. We’ll see.

I also find that (obviously, after a semester) I like actually know people, lol. Obvious! But yeah… and I actually like am quite social and talking to the people, which is awesome. This semester’s going to be good, I think  

Oh, and I can go on Bebo on my phone!! ^^ Finally… heh. I was like soo wondering how people were and such.. especially my friend TB.. she was like commenting me from her phone and such… if only it would work for Twitter but oh well. Can’t have everything. I can’t also twitter from my phone! It costs! Soo… /shrug. Oh well. 

And I think that is about it…. uni has officially begun and the holidays are over!

Oooh and went on a mini shopping expenditure today after Chinese class.. haha.. (yeah, coz I so have the money ) But yeah, bought some cosmetics and a pen and also went food shopping and didn’t spend so much as I thought I would… stocked on stuff that was on special ^^ Gotta love those specials.

Oh and I can’t wait for this weekend! Hardout plans! ^_^ Hamilton, drinks and possibly a lingerie party…? Hmm… yeah, I am not quite sure of the last one but, we shall see~

So, yeah like two years ago I wasn’t hit on by guys either…. that could have been due to the fact that I didn’t really pay much attention to guys and like had no interest in them? Although… I did really like this one guy…. so I guess you could say could have come and occurred when I started taking an interest in guys…. Hmmm…

But yeah…. this year has been the probably the year for when this has begun.. being hit on.. my favourite line? I have a boyfriend.. they usually back off…

But although i do remember in the past like I dunno, two years, I guess that I’d get like random guys from like around NZ txting me.. (okay, so it was two guys… maybe three, hah) but yeah, umm… they have like the kind of most interesting yet “what?! The hell” stories to go with them… like this one guy was from like somewhere in the South Island? And he like got my number from a desk in Art at school?! Huh? What? How does that happen? Really weird, if you ask me.

And of course, being the girl that like replies to everyone… I end up like txting them for quite a bit that day and like them promising and/or saying that they’d txt me again sometime (they haven’t.)…. it’s quite interesting and fun! Lol..

And, just recently I’ve like had a guy like txt me and then like on the third occasion that we txt? He asks if he can call me… but it was an interesting way he put it… “kol” hmm? Call? Weirdness! Like, really! :S And he calls and it’s actually notme, lol. It’s like my flatmates haha.. He sounds typically like Indian… he’s half. Half White and half Indian and well… umm I won’t mention or continue what I’m going to say and ummm friends who are reading this, will most probably know. I’m not interested in….. him and yeah. The end.
But… I’m still txting… why? Hmm… I dunno. Well. Like with the other guys, he’ll probably get bored and not txt me ever again… >_<

This is just plain weird and scary… I wouldn’t have a problem with this.. if I have met and like got my number from a friend or something… *sigh* But anyways… just thought I would share my thouughts and experiences on being like hit on… there is this one instance but let’s just say that I was not in ANY way interested in that guy who was a friend’s friend and yeah… my favourite line worked.

And I was also going to say something else but…. well, I’ll just that I’m shallow or you might think I am show after like I say it and well, if you’re smart (or would like to know, email me and we’ll talk and get to know each other and you may eventually know….) you will figure it out/know. =)

But yes. This entry is inspired by From Britney’s latest post and I commented and it was going to like well, probably turn into this! Lol.. so thought I’d better just blog it.

Oh, and signed up for a tumblr. (Posts that are too long to twitter and too short to blog…here.)

And, thanks to April for her comment on Neonglow it’s awesome to know that I have readers, lol and they like like reading my blog though it’s like about my life.. hmmm… well there must be something there that’s so interesting and well this wasn’t entirely about me… Guess I do occasionally post other things other than my life.. ^_^
