Soo start off with Grace in Small Things!

This week I am thankful for….

1. Boyfriend (I am thinking he’s going to be regular mention but….) – for being there when I am sick and in general. <3
2. Finishing assignments in the nick of time
3. (continue from above) catching up on sleep while I am sick so I was able to survive this day on next-to-no sleep! and with NO V-help too! (it was ready and waiting but not needed!! Amazing~~) amazing what a whole days or two sleep can do!
4. Of course, that feeling you get when you complete work!
5. Awesome and aww-worthy txt messages from boyfriend! ♥

Next thing…. Fast and Furious movie… whose seen it and is absoutely (or pretty much..) in love with it!? I am… so much in fact that I saw it twice! LOL. Dedication right here….. heh. XD

If I had a credit card, oh no, it would be a nightmare!? Maybe….?

But yes, I just got home from watching Confessions of A Shopaholic with my friend. It was good and quite funny. I love Isla Fisher! She is so cute and adorable but that scene where she is trying to retrieve the letter that she accidentally sent to Aletta or something.. that was soo painful to watch! >.<

But I think overall it was a good movie! Awesome chick flick definitely!

And I have actually been thinking of like doing reviews of movies that I see…. coz I have kind of seen quite a few movies lately and actually having an opinion! Haha.. XD

But, anyways updates, updates… not much… nothing exciting has been happening much in my life.. it’s just been uni, uni and more uni with the occasional sociality~ but not much coz I have been poor (up till recently..) and quite busy….

Oooh, what has been exciting is that IAM OUT OF OVERDRAFT!! ^^ YAY! I actually have MONEY in my account hehe. That’s nice And.. that’s about it really.

Oooh I met up with some old friends from high school that I haven’t seen in like AGES!! (One year to be exact) and that was very awesome. Omg… the conversation topics have like changed soo much and quite a few of my friends from high school are getting married and like just living life! Life is happening and er, yeah.. it’s kind of exciting yet scary at the same time.. ><
I think there was something that I was to mention.. that I wanted to mention but I have forgotten it… -__-

Well. That’s all. Oh! I attended a wedding ceremony of my Dad’s family friend last weekend and it was, I thikn my first wedding ceremony that I’ve attended.. that I’ve rembered? But yeah, it was nice… so nice that I nearly cried!? >< I stopped myself though… but yeah… I guess I have reached that part of my life…… or I’m getting old =_= lol..

But anyways, to end this entry (that is very delayed), carrying on from the theme from the rest of the day, I will be going out with some more friends from high school and I’m just really looking forward to catching up with them and maybe also drinking (:P) and going out.. as I haven’t gone out in SO long! But yeah..

Hope everyone has an awesome weekend and I really kind of should post more….. but sooo busy… kind of T_T

Movies I Wanna See. 19 October, 2008

In an attempt to find out when the movie, Wilby Wonderful that I saw advertised on Facebook came out in New Zealand… I stumbled onto a list upcoming movies in the like next 12 months on Hoyts. And the movies that I am interested in seeing are as follows (and let’s hope that I do get to see them and cross them off this list? Mmm, yup)

• I Love You Beth Cooper
• Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist (Yus~ lol.. wanna see that… when it comes out like in Jan.. well, not long..)
• Confessions of a Shopoholic
• He’s Just Not That Into You (all-star cast~ and y’know that book… =\)
• Final Destination 4 (even though I think they are stretching that plot-line too much now… ~_~)

Hmm.. thought that this list would be somewhat longer but oh well.

I also noticed while browsing the (quite) large/long list is that there is a Dragon Ball Z movie that’s made! Lol…

And that there is also FOURTH Final Destination movie, SECOND A Night At The Museum, a movie starring Zac Efron (lol), a THIRD Ice Age movie, a Harry Potter movie (I thought they were all finished being made, but I guess it was just the books…. prob still a few more movies to come out~), a Hannah Montana movie (I just realized the other day that this is similar to Lizzie McGuire, in which I used to like and I think I like mocked one of my friends for liking but then again I was younger but still nonetheless, I liked a Disney thing too.. and damnit! That song of hers, See You Again is starting to grow on me! ~_~ damnit, lol) and yeah there’s probably a few more that’s interesting and that makes you say “wow, really!?“..

Really looking forward to seeing that Hayden Panettiere one (I Love You Beth Cooper).. dunno only if it’s coz she’s in it or the actual movie, but nonetheless~

And definitely you can say that I am out of touch with movies coz the last one that I saw was that Zohan one… =_= which was what, in June? Sigh. I think this semester I have been both too poor and too into my studies.. or actually it is because I am too poor (or in more accurate terms, overdrawn) to go spend ridicoulous amounts of money to see a movie.. sighs~

Oh well.. Hopefully my overdrawn-ness will be the end on the 8th Nov…. here’s hoping I stick to my budget of just food, rent and expenses… but that hasn’t somewhat been the case… but oh well. Sigh.

But yes.. Once it has been lifted… Movie on Tuesday anyone? ($10!)

♥ S.O.A.P – Not Like Other Girls ~ yes, I know. Oldddd! But sooo good! Pop all way.. although not really sure if it could be considered/classified as pop.. I dunno. It’s good. Note-worthy songs include This Is How We Party, Wishing, Deep In My Heart and Stand By You. Love<3

♥ Colbie Caillat – Coco ~ Awesome. Just awesome. Awesome artist. Awesome songs. Love it. Very different from everything else ^.^

♥ Kelly Clarkson – My Decemeber, Thankful and Breakaway ~ I LOVE Kelly Clarkson. She is an awesome and great singer! And she is one of the few (or maybe even only?) international success because of American Idol. The first American Idol winner~ ^^ Songs I love from those albums: Thankful: Anytime, Just Missed The Train and You Thought Wrong feat. Tamara Grayson as well as released songs; A Moment Like This and Before Your Love. My Decemeber: Be Still and Don’t Waste Your Time. Breakaway: Breakaway (of course), Because of You, Behind These Hazel Eyes, You Found Me and Gone.

♥ Michelle Branch – The Spirit Room ~ Michelle Branch is another awesome singer. She also has that difference about her too. It’s great. Songs I love: All You Wanted, Goodbye To You, You Get Me and Something To Sleep To. Quite awesome album! =]

♥ Bellefire – After The Rain and Spin The Wheel ~ I was just thinking how I discovered this band and just remembered… I liked one of thier songs from a music compilation I bought in China three years ago.. it’s a good song, the song was Say Something Anyway.. it reminds me of the band of the similar name? Oh that band is called Say Anything.. famous for thier song ‘Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too’. Heh.. alright and interesting song… :] So anyways, songs I love from the albums: After The Rain: Perfect Bliss and Spin The Wheel: Stay, Damn and I’ll Never Get Over You Getting Over Me. Pretty awesome songs.

I really do recommened these albums and artists. They’re pretty much the only albums that I can listen to from start to end.

A artist that I’m getting into and loving is Boys Like Girls… especially their songs, Thunder, Learning To Fall and Me, You and My Medication! And of course, The Great Escape. I want the album! I also love the karaoke of The Great Escape! You should go there. Lol. It’s called Luxury Karaoke or something… located at lower Queen Street near like the hotel there…? It’s a Korean-owned, I think. Pretty good value for money too! ($30/hour) And the rooms (the room that we went to anyways) were decently sized and had awesome strobey disco lights ^^ It was awesome.

Something else I want to randomly mention….

Before I mention this. Yes. I watch soaps such as Home & Away and Shortland (what else is there to do? And who doesn’t like to watch overplayed and really dramatic drama??? Haha.. ). And somewhat sometimes enjoy it but… again, who doesn’t ? =x

So. What is REALLY cute on Home & Away is the new couple they hooked up togehter… Annie and Jai.. awww!! Soooo cutee!! >_< Lol. Yeah, that’s probably pretty much all I wanted to mention.. haha xD

But it really is fake and like really overplayed… some of the stuff really doesn’t happen in real life… oh well… one can live in…. not-reality. It’s qutie predictable too…. hmmm…

Oh yes. I am like soo out-of-touch with movies! It’s been like literally forever since I last saw a movie… what was the last movie I saw…. I think either What Happens In Vegas or Don’t Mess With The Zohan? Hmm… omg… that’s both ages ago! >_< But anyways the movie that I really want to see is The House Bunny… seems funny from the trailer~ ^_^ Definitely will be going on a Tuesday… haha.. cheaper

Hopefully get to see a movie (or specifically that one! ) sometime soon! But for the while… study, study, study…. =_= Oh, and assigments~ just one more left! And lots of Chinese study~ -__-

Turn Left, Turn Right 17 August, 2008

Omg!! I LOVE this movie!!! LOL. It’s an asian romantic comedy and omg, I just love it! It is so cute! Especially the ending and omg, I just love everything about it!

The only thing that would make it even more better is if I understood it!! LOL. xD

I got some chinese movies and dramas from my mum today at the market to improve my Chinese (^.^) and yeah, I love this movie! Even though I didn’t understand what they were saying lol. But you can like understand what’s going on anyways. I love it ! Haha xD

And now I should study…. lol. Or really get the script done… *sigh* I hate uni atm… >.< It’s too hard… well…. icommunicate anyways.. I hate research.  I hate reading >< Hate, hate, hate.

I spent the weekend at home and it wasn’t much differnet from any other weekend in the city.. other than that I didn’t have to spend money on food and heh, I gained food too! Finished a pack of Tim Tams that I just got today~ >< It’s going to be like a wonder if I haven’t gained weight… but hey, knowing meee…

But, yeah, think should do some work now >_< *sigh*
