Laziness and Whatnot Kicking In…. 14 December, 2008

is the reason behind my uh, lack of updates and the general feeling of un-interestingness.. even though there has been some moments in which I said I would blog… but, yeah, I lost it! >.<

It is finally happening to me. I’ve read in a few of the blogs that I follow this happening to them. And now it’s happening to me~

There has been some good news.. overdraft is down like SIGNIFICANTLY. To -$25… now, just have to NOT spend anything till payday this coming Friday 19th! ^_^

And the China/HK trip is getting closer and closer!!! Two weeks exactly!! I can’t wait. Will be starting to pack next week, really (week of 23rd)! Yaay! ^.^

Something sort of random that I did today, created a blend from an episode of Gossip Girl for a theme header competition at Transcending Bliss Forum.

And, speaking Gossip Girl, I am one episode away from having watched every episode of Gossip Girl! Love that show<3 Love Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass! Blair is GORGEOUS and PRETTY and Chuck is, just, Chuck. Not bad looking as the (first) season progresses~ :]

So, really what is left of this month is:
~ a week of work (this week)
~ Boxing Day Sales (YUS! Shopping timee!!)
~ and finally, CHINA/HK!!

This past month or the last time since I have updated hasn’t been totally exciting… just been me procrastinating tidying room (since moving back) and when I have been tidying, chucking and sorting stuff etc etc.. and yeah…. exciting stuff right there.

And The (Somewhat) Bad…. 28 November, 2008

And of course with every goodish/badish news (yesterday’s entry), there comes bad or really, unwelcome…?
Anywho, haven’t really been “spending up large” but the small ‘breakfast’/'first-meal-of-the-day’ purchases have been adding together…. to the sum of four hundred dollars!!! :O

I know… I am…. shocked. Ah yes, shocking news! Sigh. Oh well. Gotta restrain myself (which I did today when I went to Lynnmall! Restrained myself from buying this $5 necklace at Equip! I want it! Maybe next week….) till next friday! When I get bpaid a nice. huge. sum! =D I can’t wait!

One week of work over! =) Three more to go~

Next week is shopping day Thursay then… (before) my friend’s 19th birthday dinner at La Porchetta! ^^ Their gelato is delicious! And so pretty! (might have to take a pic…. if I’m not feeling so self-conscious at myself for taking a picture of my food, lol).

I don’t know how other people do it! I just get so! self-conscious like people, or even the people I’m with are looking at me (most probably) and/or are thinking what the hell! Also think its a very asian thing to do (mean no offence, a good thing! And just I think is typical of them ), I wish I had that asian-ness… don’t think I’m asian enough

YAYYYYY!!!! My overdraft is going down! I am sooo happy. This end of year and actaully SEMESTER has actually been pretty great! Greatness all around… and now that just sounds cheesy, lol. >.<

Overdraft = now $116! YUS!

The next couple of weeks is going to be quite good too… well the next week anyways…

1. Getting exams back… fingers crossed I passed! ><
2. Some plans with Chinese Class (LOL, yes, we’re that tight haha XD)
3. Getting paid… haha… and equals overdraft disappearing! Also my last allowance payment~
4. Friends (finally) coming to visit me!

Well.. the last one is actually this week but nonetheless, I’ll count them as like next week lol… OOoh and HEROES! Coming back. OMG! It is sooo goood!!! >_< But so very whyyy and wtf as well.

Ohhh and like today also like got reconnected with an old friend on FB! Facebook is great! Lol. That’s now like two people finding me in a FB group lol… (the primary school I went to~)

Soo yeah, life has never been so great! I’m very happy. And ooohhh of course CHINA AND HK! YUS!! HAPPY! LIKE OMG!

Sooo pretty much there is quite a few things that I am looking forward that’s coming up in the next month… like:

1. CHINA/HK! LIKE OH YEAH AND OMG!!!! YUS~ ^_^
2. My friend, Chloe’s birthday dinner… birthdays  are always nice and good time to catch up! =)
3. Working! Yes… lol… I found out that I will be working till the week before I leave for China/HK! ^.^
4. And the above stuff, exam handback plans, etc etc.

I am like pretty happy and satisfied with life atm. And exaaaaams have finsihed! Yus! Finally!

Though one thing that hasn’t really like “lifted off” is that NZ site… I’m too lazy to like tend to it… emailed a few sites in the hopes of a exchange but yeah… I dunno. I think I need more help. Heh.

Oooh and of course not like forgetting my little outing today, lol! It was actually quite interesting~ Like I stumbled onto this guy on Vulcan Lane, I think like doing this awesome and soo original painting! Sucks that I was like 30c short of $2 to try and get one through the raffle he was doing! The art was like soo great! Pretty great~ It’s like apparently this technique from South Africa and like next to no one other than he does it!? It’s pretty awesome!

Also, this guy was busking..

And I believe that is about all! Satisfication. ♥

Oh and am also planning a few stuff before the end of the year/before I leave… presents… gotta go shopping for a secret santa present on Snark and also for some other people. =) Might leave some till I actually have money!~ But would like the snark secret santa to be like sent out soonish… since it’s gotta be sent overseas~

End of Another Week… 26 September, 2008

And then this is an end of another week..

This week hasn’t been too bad.. I actually did some study this week and well.. did a lot of procrastinating… especially last night when one of my (few) assignments were due… =_= bad idea. Well.. it wasn’t as bad as that first overdue assignment that I handed in…. I handed this one in at about 2.15 am and it was due at midnight? So, an approvement… heh. Yeah.

The days are going by too fast~!! Before I know it, it will be the end of the year…. and hopefully overseas trip!! ^_^

So, it sucks when you go browsing/shopping when you don’t have money! Lol…. another not-so-bright-idea… I want like soo much stuff. I have an obsession with dresses atm… I did get Westfield mall gift vouchers for my birthday but I don’t know if I want to spend it on like a dress…. lol… >_<

But yeah, went window shopping today after class and it is pretty depressing when you decide to go shopping and have no money…. things are soo overpriced and expensive as well! >.< *sigh* I definitely need another job.. that doesn’t have lots of hours~ I am so picky… there might be this other data entry job… thats like Wed, Thur and Fri… bout like 3 hours each day…. hmmm… probably shouldn’t be working so much.. kind of pretty much surviving atm with my current pay and Studylink allowance….

But the real problem is my overdraft… -__- damnit.. I really have no idea how I get myself into overdraft….. *sigh*

I don’t know what it is about like this year, but this year I have noticed soo many bad things happening in Auckland and quite near where I live as well! I got told about this last night when the 10.30 news was on… so sad.

On another note… my overdraft is going down somewhat dramatically… atm on about $400…soo no spending for about the next month… Damnit, I want dresses! I am really wanting that one from Lippy… possibly for my friend’s upcoming 21st… but not sure of the like dress style… weather it is formal, casual or semi-casual.. probably the last…

Finally Getting Paid! 9 September, 2008

I am finally getting paid! I worked it out and am roughly going to be getting paid $425! OMG! :O It’s…. great! And my Overdraft is going to go down to about $400!!! It’s going to be great… now just the matter of not spending it on everything that my little heart desires! *sigh*

Going to try though! Coz hopefully at the end of the year, my family and I will be going to Hong Kong and China! I can’t wait even MORE for the end of this year! Although… I have to save up like around $1000 for the airfare….. =_= oh well. It will be like soo worth it! And my mum is going to pay for our spending money~ Here’s hoping that I will be able to save up that amount! Something else I also wouldn’t mind getting (and would prove that I am able to save) is a new pink digital camera… like a Sony or Fuji one… a slim one… ^^

But yeah… here’s hoping I am able to save up around $1000….

So, my weekend was good… lots of shopping! Went shopping again with my sister yesterday and also picked up a parcel~ spotted a real nice pair of shoes that I wanted and that I may wear out this coming Saturday for my birthday celebration thing…. I am like pretty excited also for my birthday celebration thing.. There’s going to be people coming in that I haven’t seen for aaages! So, yeah I’m quite looking forward to that.

Other than the birthday celebration thing that’s coming up, nothing else much is planned for this week… or the next for that matter other than work and maybe hopefully going out and spending time with friends… especially on my birthday! ^.^

Soo yes a pretty good day and hopefully continues to be a good week…. hope everything is going great in everyone’s worlds

I am really happy atm! Why…. Because I got paid by not only Studylink (Student Allowance) but IRD too!! I got paid my….. measly (but oh-so-helpful and beneficial) $62.62.. not much but very helpful and contributory towards my purchase (like REAL badly) of an external hard drive.

And I thought that since I was going to be purchasing one anyway coz I got a new hard disk installed and my old one like taken out… sooo I have like a random piece of computer equipment in my possession with like my (nearly, I think 4GB worth of) music, photos, videos and, yeah that’s about it on there… that I need to like back up/transfer onto an external piece of like hardware… (external hard drive) and I only had 7 days to do it… But becuase of my financial situation had to wait to be paid by Studylink to like purchase it and well, last week on Trademe it was $137 for a 500GB external hard drive… but now it’s like gone up to $144… +$8 P&P -_- oh well.. didn’t go up by that much and so it’s still all good

Soo yeah… I am in a really happy mood atm and I should probably also like study but… hmmm… doubt it… probably only like, what, 10 minutes? LOL.. >.<

Aaand… yeah, I am really happy coz after paying for rent and expenses… I have money left over…. and can actually like buy stuff… not that I wouldn’t have been able to before if I didn’t get the like (extra) IRD tax return money but yeah…. I am able to kind of in a way survive/buy comfortably. LOL. xD

Rich! ^.^ 9 August, 2008

So. Well. You don’t need to know the details or the like screencap of the spreadsheet to prove that I am going to be quite rich next week… after all the “expenses” I have to pay (including the expenses of the apartment) I will have like $60 left! ^_^ Yayy! Hmmm I wasn’t actually planning to go out next week lol, was actually even thinking of heading home to my Mum’s but I’m thinking we shall see… I think I need a break from the city. And the apartment. Kind of also even feel like going to West City.. oh, hm…. might actually even have to spend that $60 to GET THE data from my old hard disk transferred to a new external hard drive… -__-!! *sigh* Oh well, hopefully it’s not too much~

And, I went out last and didn’t spend like a single cent! Yes. I didn’t. Went to the foam party at AUT and wow, that was fun! ^.^ And an experience! Tehe. Afterwards, had to like go home and have another shower (lol) and restraighten and blow dry my hair.. but it was worth it. Lol. Probably not going to have another opportunity to do that again~

Last night went to Globe and Lounge and…. there wasn’t like much people out on the streets or in the clubs…. I said that people were at home watching the Olympics LOL.. Maybe, though….. haha. Shrug. Anyways.

Half of the weekend is gone and alas no study…. nothing new.

Third Week Back 4 August, 2008

Aaand… it’s going alright. Definitely on toof my work in iCommunicate. Kind of easy when umm.. you’re not like learning a language? When it’s not continued? =_=

Anywho. It’s great. I love my classes. I love the people in it. I am definitely also more social than last semester… I know people from my last semester classes and well.. I guess you could say it’s hard not to communicate and socialize with the people. I kind of want to be like this more often. And also I guess you could say am becoming more closer to people that I know from my Chinese class last semester. Which is awesome. I love it.  This is definitely been a good year in terms of friendships, not like last year was horrendous in friendships but I am more social than I was last year. So it’s been good in like a different aspect. =) 

Which is good! Sooo… umm…  I also have a job!! That I scored like about two weeks ago from SJS (Student Job Search for uni students ^.^) and it’s going alright eh.. this month I’m working three days a week as opposed to two days and yeah… it’s good. I like it. I was a little like tired of the job but.. it was only for like a split second and yeah. I like it. It’s a good job and I like the person I sometimes work with.. heh. It’s good. Love<3

My laptop. Is still a bit like scarce in programs, music and umm… videos. But kind of watched almost all of The Hills episodes that I have downloaded anyways so all good and just waiting for C4 to like catch up. It’s a good show…. in my opinion. Soo dramatic haha.. makes me forget about mine which isn’t so dramatic although the love front is always almost like something happening… but… well, not at the very moment~

Oooh I also can’t like wait to get an external hard drive!! ^.^ I’m not very like up with the technicalities and speicifics of what’s good or not and so I’m just like kind of aiming to get a 500GB external hard drive for about like $137 off Trademe. Love that site. Bargains! Especially in terms of DVD’s. Omg.. I can’t wait to get paid… hmmm may go shopping for like dresses or like buy the two that I want from Glassons.. but going to go shopping… aww… can’t wait.. but kind of also want my overdraft to go down.. it’s… okay it’s bad. It’s like in the 900’s! TT_TT Really do hope that I get like the Santamagic job at the end of the year eh… which is like really soon~ hmmm.. oh well. Hopefully like spend less and get it down… arghh gonna like takes aaages! It took me like about 3-4 months and two jobs to pay it off and then I think within like about 2-3 months, it increased again… probably really didn’t help that I like moved out but… well, I don’t think I could resist in some umm… purchases… actually it has mostly been food and like apartment-related.. soo eyah… like “unexpected” bills. That’s when it went downhill.

Well. Overall I think my life is pretty good atm… just gotta like study more… I am sure I most probably like didn’t get a good mark for that Written Chinese test/5% “quiz” that occurred today… I studied like the night before (at like 2am… what!? lol.) but yeah… arghhh… it kind of came in handy but not really.. hmm… Oh. Yeah… 2 am study… seems that I like study best at that time.. probably only study at that time/before I go to bed is because I feel guilty and feel unproductive that I make myself do some study and learn something buuut well it works but I don’t like remember some characters. *sigh* More studyy.. hate it. I hate starting. It’s sooo hard!
