Clubbing, Shopping and No Study! SIGH~ 5 October, 2008

So I went out clubbing twice this weekend… and both nights were to the same clubs haha. Margaritas and Globe. I actually was thinking of doing something along the lines of a review lol of the clubs and then gone on to think how this blog has turned into a one-stop shop of my things like photography and music recommendations..

Atm am thinking of just posting my photography photographs here categorized under photography and as my Weekly thing of “Thursday Photographs” lol.. Though might get like confusing… but interesting and varied. Hmmm..

Anyways. No study this weekend! Just went out! T_T It was good though.. in a way lol.. the going out… >_>

Dropped by Cock & Bull in Newmarket to see a friend for her birthday. That was pretty cool. Haven’t seen them in like aages! Lol. Good ole Facebook for bringing people back together~ haha. But yeah, Cock & Bull was alright.. it kinda sucked to begin with when I got my first drink and the bar person thought that I wanted an OJ -__- I said it twice as well (I wanted Crusier Ice) and the second time she just thought that I just wanted it on the rocks…. =_= stupid loud music lol. The music was suprisingly good there. They played covered Shake It by Metrostation haha. Though I dunno if I will like return there in a hurry..  but it was an overall good experience~

Then went to Margarita’s and well… I don’t think its my scene.. I just didn’t feel or “blend” into the atmosphere.. Globe… haha.. Lara and I went to Globe leaving Sabrina with her friends. But yeah. In my personal opinion of Margarita’s… I just couldn’t get into it.. good music though! While waiting for Sabrina and Lara to get in, heard All I Ever Wanted being played downstairs. That is an awesome song! ^.^

Friday night was pretty much the same… I wanted to go to Margarita’s for a change of scenery and another reason and well, i didn’t enjoy it that  night either although Saturday was more pumping than Friday. And, heh, you needed a girl to get into Globe on Saturday.. and omg! The line was freaking long! T_T But went by somewhat fast.

Saturday night was also my first experience in um, losing a friend in the club! I also saw some other friends at Globe. This is an example of how small Auckland is~

And to finish off, can’t wait for Elaines 21st on Friday.. found out last week that we have a test that day! *sigh* Should have really studied this weekend for it… oh well.. Hardout this week? Maybe… and then I shall go dress shopping on Friday.. thinking Newmarket… check out 277 and the Supre there for dresses… hopefully cheap[er] ones haha.. I’m dreaming, yes, I know lol. But hey, one can dream right? If I don’t find a decently priced one in Newmarket will go and get this one at Glassons. (Photos of my dress shopping day on my LJ… email/comment for link )

So. Well. You don’t need to know the details or the like screencap of the spreadsheet to prove that I am going to be quite rich next week… after all the “expenses” I have to pay (including the expenses of the apartment) I will have like $60 left! ^_^ Yayy! Hmmm I wasn’t actually planning to go out next week lol, was actually even thinking of heading home to my Mum’s but I’m thinking we shall see… I think I need a break from the city. And the apartment. Kind of also even feel like going to West City.. oh, hm…. might actually even have to spend that $60 to GET THE data from my old hard disk transferred to a new external hard drive… -__-!! *sigh* Oh well, hopefully it’s not too much~

And, I went out last and didn’t spend like a single cent! Yes. I didn’t. Went to the foam party at AUT and wow, that was fun! ^.^ And an experience! Tehe. Afterwards, had to like go home and have another shower (lol) and restraighten and blow dry my hair.. but it was worth it. Lol. Probably not going to have another opportunity to do that again~

Last night went to Globe and Lounge and…. there wasn’t like much people out on the streets or in the clubs…. I said that people were at home watching the Olympics LOL.. Maybe, though….. haha. Shrug. Anyways.

Half of the weekend is gone and alas no study…. nothing new.

Edit// I am also at times feeling the need and like wanting to actually move away from wordpress.com and be able to like create my own layouts.. have a few ideas too… I need to be creative.. have that little creativity.. sometimes I’m creative in photos I take.. but it’s like rare and only some look creative and photography-y. Anyways.. just a random thought that I thought that I would share…

It has been ages since I last updated and a lot has happened as well…. like that I randomly went out last Thursday night with a friend from my Chinese Class aaaand, well, let’s just say I did not expect that to happen! Twice even… =_= Lol…

But anyways. I have now officially gotten a new harddisk for my laptop coz there was something wrong with the old one aaand… I have pretty much nothing. No photos, music or videos! So I am pretty much music-less. Yes. That is the one that I really care about! I had like sooo much music… I guess this teaches me to like back up my stuff… well I’m thinking of getting like an external hard drive to like get my stuff like transferred over from my old hard drive/disk anyways coz I don’t think there is any other way…? I’m not a computer expert and sooo… yeah. >.<

Last week I also went down to Hamilton to like sell the rest of my (two) textbooks from last year! And I only got one of the sold! For $25 as well! That doesn’t even like BEGIN to cover actually going down there! Speaking of which, I owe one of my friends, SC $30.. (yeah, just a side note.. have decided to use initals or whatever you call them to refer to friend’s names so it won’t be as easy to identify me?? I dunno. I know I once started like using first letters but… that could (and did!) get confusing and such… not really sure why I am like so paranoid bout getting like idenitified but… I dunno, I may get lazy and like be back to just naming names. Not that I say anything bad.. that’s kept to myself and such but hmm… well anyways)

*cough* Oh yes. I am sick! Officially. I have aquired a cough now along with a stuffed and semi-runny nose x_x damnit. Thought that I would like be immune…. but obviously not I’m sick! I don’t think it helps that I am just like at the apartment all the time… hmm… coz I thought that I would like be totally not up for work yesterday but… seems change of like environment, I guess, changed that and I was actually quite fine and not that sick..

I need to buy an umbrella.. I want a Hello Kitty one… where can you get one in Auckland City?? =\ Cheaply.. heh.. I dunno. But yeah… time to visit the $3 Japan store.. It also didn’t help my sickness yesterday that I walked like in the rain without an umbrella~ oops.

Oooh yes and I also got myself a jobbb!! ^.^ I have also started to like plan my 20th birthday.. lol. I have made an event on facebook and yeah… seeing whose like keen to come I’m excited. I can’t wait.. I am thinking that probably this year I will have a like semi-big thing for it and then like next year, maybe just a small close friends one? Heh… it’s like opposite….  I dunno, we’ll see. 

Uni-wise. I am like screwed. I’m behind. I need to learn like key characters to be able to like read and like understand passages! T_T I am like dying atm! And I think I have a little pop quiz/test thing sometime next week in one of the Chinese papers and oh. my. goodness. -__- I think it’s just like how to use a dictionary, though… so, I might be like good.

So. Um. I have a completely new and blank harddisk.. 

I think that’s about it. Yeah… that’s it. In a nutshell. Hmmm for a while there I was going like hard with daily updates… and then something happened.. heh. I’ve also been quite the social butterfly during the weekend! I have been like out every weekend… drinking…. >_> Yeah… lol.. Ohh… >_<

[Friends Only] LJ~! That is on the rare occasion t hat I remember to update it with a public entry!

Met up and went out with a few people from my Chinese class the other night…. Saturday night I believe and it was the best night out ever! ^_^

I…. got extremely wasted! >_< Not really…. but I definitely did drink more alcohol that I normally would…. I had four lemon, lime and vodkas and then when we went to the karaoke place on Queen Street, next to the Korean bank, had probably about 3-4-5 even? shots of soju! >< And somehow I ended up getting money out to pay for the karaoke….?!

I probably maybe should’ve updated this like yesterday when I was like more like I dunno remembering lol… I don’t know. I’m not in a very blogging sort of mood atm.

Oh and I think… I definitely had a hangover the next day! I wasn’t really feeling that well aaand yeah.. I probably wouldn’t have gotten out of bed if I didn’t have to meet up with my friend, A but it was all good! The catch up was great. She is sooo amusing!!! I like forget how amusing my old friends from primary are! And also told me a few home truths… I hate it when what they say is true but you just don’t want to believe it and yeah…. it’s been a benefit of a doubt thing and yeah… just didn’t want to believe it.

Oh yes. I didn’t have much recollection the next day after I was like gone…… I was quite surprised that I made it to bed… in my pjs too and yeah.. haha… it was fun. We went to Barzuka and originally it was just me, Sabrina and Lee.. then txted a few other people and then Ryan and Alex and his (girl)friend turned up later.

I overspent that night… it’s not much… like in total I spent $60 on alcohol and karaoke and a few random stuff… like icecream and umm.. McDonald’s chips lol.

Gotta haircut! ^^ It’s greeeat! I LOVE IT! It’s like the best haircut I’ve ever had… coming under closely tothe haircut I got back in China when I last went.

Koreans are awesome hairdressers!! And in general, Asians too! I reckon Japanese and Koreans are the best. But, atm I am thinking with this experience, Koreans ftw! Oooh, I got it cut at the place called ID in like midcity… haha I was like descibing and going on about my haircut and how great it was etc to my friend the other night and like I was like SOOO bad at describing where it was and I had like forgotten the name of the place… lol.

I paid $35 for the haircut. it’s a good price to pay, I think.. it was the price of the haircut I got from this place on Queen Street next to $3 Japan. They were I think Japanese and yeah, it was great, too! Don’t think I have photos of my last haircut… it was in February, I think… end of February and I remember this because it was my friend’s friends birthday drinks that night and it was also the night that I would later get in trouble from my friend’s ex-girlfriend’s father for….. it wasn’t good..

But yes…. that day I spent A LOT of money! >_< I also didn’t get up till like 1 pm or 2 pm… I think… lol! =P

And because I’m so lazy this is cross-posted from my LJ with a few tweaks and additions. Soo lazy

Sooo…. yeah, lazy days ahead in the city coz I am overdrawn! I am really keen to make some more plans….

and that is about it.. T_T Yeah, I need more plans… that doesn’t involve much money. Oooh, getting paid Wednesday! But… I think there is a bill that needs to be paid >_<

I need a job, damnit!! The one that I got… I don’t think is like “for me”. Me and “approaching people” just don’t go well in a sentence apart from this one. Hah.

My Daily Update~ 8 May, 2008

Okay. So. A comment I just got prompted me to update ~ to like answer that question.

Okay. Hmmm… I’m not too sure if this is like all too personal and am thinking that I think I know (can’t be too sure) a specific person would be reading this…. so I will like leave that. Yup. I will just say that I have hopefully passed mentioning blogging about that part of my life. Until maybe something new comes along. /Shrug. I dunno.

Anyways. So. To keep the tradition of like this week of like sleeping in and just like pretty much rolling out of bed and going to class… yeah… its continued today. -__-!! *Sigh* I woke up at 8 am today but that was too early for my 12 pm class and so yeah, went back to sleep and awoke at quarter to 12! Damn. But made it on time~! ^_^

I still have not composed a second entry in my uni blog. *SIGH!* I just don’t know how to begin the entry and like also structure the links! -_- Hmmm….

Oh! I went out last night and saw The Electric Confectioneries (sp? Not sure of spelling) and this other band, Afrectones (? Not even sure of the band name… it was weird – the band name) at Shadows Bar (at Auckland Uni… Auckland University student bar). They both were quite good! I really especially liked the latter bands first song… but, I’m not sure what it is called and etc etc. Yeah. They were good.

And I am going out tonight? But I’m not sure if I can be bothered… I mean, I was actually going to go out to forget about the situation. And now that is like normal again…. kind of. I don’t know. Anyways. Bottom line. i don’t know if I feel like going out. I feel also that, well, I’m kind over it. I dunno… *Sigh* Just not that into clubbing anymore I guess. And I’m sort of poor. I spent money last night on drinks and food. :I Hmmm… so yeah. Don’t know if I will have the money to go out again. I mean, I could just go out and not spend money but… hmmm.. Well. I don’t have to.. Hm.

And y’know! I think I just like pretty much did a filter blog? Sigh. Wish me luck. I need it. I really should have like done this about like two weeks ago~ :\ And the reason I am kind of stressing (hah – kind of ? I AM! -__-) is because I think he is checking our blogs like. On Friday. >_< DAMNIT!

And a little rant and mention of something.

Mention: what is the difference between tags and categories?? I cannot see the difference! It seems to just overlap for me.. or maybe it is that I just talk about waaaay too much for it to… matter? Shrug. Anyways..

Rant: I find it somewhat amusing that I dunno… some people in like high school are dating like similar people or like people from high school… hehe. Hmmm… Yeah. Okay. Not much of a rant. Just like another mention. Oh well. Time to do work…. =_=

And y’know something else.. Bebo. People who you like never talk to add you on Bebo and well, yet again, you will never talk… also wondering about the people in which you like again never talk to… what is the point, then?
